The Arkansas River Valley Adoption Coalition is dedicated to helping children in the Fort Smith and surrounding areas find permanent and nurturing families they need and deserve. The Coalition group consists of nonprofit child placing agencies, child protective services, adoptive and foster parents along with businesses, churches, schools, and lots of loving individuals who work together to create a brighter future to find forever families for children languishing in the foster care system. We will unite with the business community to increase the awareness of adoption and to educate businesses of the critical need for adoptive families in the River Valley area, with the goal of recruiting potential adoptive parents. We believe that every child deserves a permanent family with a life filled with love and stability, but most of all a sense of belonging.
